Our Challenge
In this role as a Cloud (Azure) Architect, you will work on building proofs of concepts aligned with best practices and coding based upon the business requirements and specifications presented to you. Through Azure and Kubernetes, you will also design and architect applications while collaborating with global technical and non-technical teams across the organization.Responsibilties
- Build proofs of concepts and reference architectures to serve as best practice examples with existing tools, as well as demonstrate what is possible
- Document best practices, analyse work streams, and actively solicit feedback from practitioners on how to improve time-to-market
- Participate in hands-on coding based on requirements and functional specifications
- Architect, analyse, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Web and Defi applications as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Work with teams to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code/APIs used by the application
- Produce technical and user documentation as needed
- Provide ad hoc support for tasks required for completion of deliverables and application support
- Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
- Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Requirements
You are/have:- Equipped with 7+ years of designing/architecting applications on Azure
- Preferably bringing 3+ years of experience designing/architecting applications deployed on Kubernetes Engine, Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), or Elastic Kubernetes Service including documentation, continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployments, with a GitOps-approach mindset
- An expert with Microsoft Azure
- Equipped with operational experience using multiple applications running in Kubernetes clusters
- Experienced in production systems
- Experienced in requirements gathering, especially in a regulated environment
- Familiar with Operational Risk, Troubleshooting and Root Cause analysis
- Knowledgeable in hypothesis-testing & triangulating to recover normal operations during an outage
- Experienced in technical documentation in a complex business environment requiring integration and proficiency with dozens of internal/open-source tools
- Able to make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms
- Able to design multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system
Strong written and communication skills in English, additional languages can be a plus.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
