Your role

You will be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR topics, such as Employer Branding, Recruitment, on- and offboarding of employees and throughout the employee journey.The emphasis is on teamwork and together with your HR colleagues, you will ensure effective and efficient HR administration; from managing employee data and, providing HR information to drafting employment contracts.Your duties in bullet points:

• Promoting our employer brand;
• Scheduling job interviews;
• Facilitate a smooth induction experience for new employees;
• Managing HR administration via PALLAS InSite (AFAS) and SharePoint;
• Drafting and managing employment contracts;
• Contribute to employee and management development through performance management, health management, code of conduct compliance, career development and retention, and qualification and training initiatives;

What do you bring?

Experience is not a requirement!
We like to be convinced by enthusiasm and affinity with the HR field.However, our project dynamics do require initiative, organisational talent, a solution-oriented attitude and, at the same time, an eye for detail. Key criteria:

• MBO+ working and thinking level;
• Preferably several years of relevant experience;
• Experience with HR systems (AFAS) is an advantage;
• Living in the Alkmaar region;
• Good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing;

A VOG is part of the selection process.
If necessary, a personality test and/or an assessment of English language skills may be taken.

Our team

At our Alkmaar office, more than 100 specialists from more than 20 countries are working on the realisation of PALLAS. We are building this 'state-of-the-art' multifunctional nuclear reactor on the Energy& Health Campus in the dunes of Petten, just 60 km north of Amsterdam. By building PALLAS, we are securing 30% of the world's production of medical isotopes, for the next 50 years. That means some 30,00 patients a day worldwide can be helped to diagnose and treat life-threatening diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. The PALLAS reactor is also used for various nuclear technology research programmes, thus contributing to the development of a CO2-free energy supply.

Our HR team now has four committed colleagues. Among other things, they support the PALLAS organisation in its planned growth by several hundred employees over the next few years, a merger with our colleagues at NRG in Petten and the implementation of a new HR system. And in doing so, they could use the help of an HR Officer.
