Market Innovation Manager

Job Purpose
Key innovation role in the BU, supports the delivery of transformational initiatives on digital, services, channels, etc. leading to enhanced customer experience. Manages projects which focus on new business models, unique offerings, innovative profit and revenue approaches.
Key Accountabilities
- Generate new business model ideas for new applications, digital, sustainability (e.g. Circular economy) or new channel model within the prioritized Opportunity Areas, taking identified sweet spots to the next level both from an insight and technology levels;
- Drives customer need understanding, value proposition development and business model definition and execution. “deliver winning concepts”;
- Manages LEVERAGE programs between the various segments;
- Executes the seeding, development and operations of new business Model until transfer to the business;
- Uses and contributes to the “new idea management” (NIM) process;
- Identification of start-up companies to partner for new ideas and business models;
- Services and co-creation both up- and downstream in the value chain;
- Assures the timely launch of new projects OTIF into the market and follows approval processes;
- Works closely together with various discipline segment managers, product managers, sales to ensure all initiatives land well within the organization;
- Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business;
- At least 3+ years of experience in a commercial environment;
- Ideally experience in more than 1 area of marketing and/or sales;
- Analytical with good financial acumen;
- Proven experience in Project management;
- Experience with working in multi-disciplinary programs and teams, from start to implementation and delivering results;
- Able to influence and convince stakeholders from all levels in the organization;
- Familiar with outside in approach, networking skills, agile with open source solutions.
