Kaak Dough Technology B.V. in Nieuwkuijk, the location for this vacancy, focuses within the group on producing dough processing machines for industrial and medium-sized bakeries. With our 170 colleagues, we work on sales and service, as well as the complete mechanical and control engineering development and production for standard machines, custom equipment, and complete production lines.

Your challenge as Warehouse Team Leader

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will work in a small team, currently consisting of 5 permanent employees and 2 temporary staff. You will lead this team while also actively participating in operations. As Team Leader, you will plan incoming and outgoing goods and ensure proper inventory management. In case of emergencies, you will take immediate corrective actions to restore normal operations. All of this will be done using our ER system. We are also actively working on implementing a new ERP system, which presents a great opportunity for you!

You will be responsible for the operational supervision of our team. You will facilitate, guide, and coach our employees to enable them to achieve the desired output. You will allocate tasks within the team, adjust the daily and weekly planning if necessary, and ensure timely execution of tasks. Additionally, you will promptly address any identified deviations.

Your role extends beyond your own team; you will also promote collaboration with other teams such as QHSE, the parts factory, Assembly, and HR. Communication is key in this role. You will regularly liaise with the Operations Manager regarding staffing, development, reporting, and personnel matters. Furthermore, you will provide opportunities for the development of your team members by organizing necessary training in coordination with the Operations Manager.

What we expect from a Warehouse Team Leader?

• You have an MBO diploma in Logistics or relevant work experience;
• You have experience in a small warehouse environment, leadership experience is a plus;
• You are skilled in organizing tasks and providing structure to a department;
• You are meticulous and orderly;
• Strong communication skills.
