Be limitless

Developing corporate, agency MICE and leisure accounts in the Netherlands. That is what you take care of. You support the account and sales managers in their work and actively cultivate the market for our hotel. You do this by visiting (potential) accounts and distributing information about our facilities and packages. You also determine pricing details and write the necessary cost estimates and quotations. Everything to give the customer the best possible image of Mövenpick and to ensure more bookings by customers. This also means that you are sometimes at trade fairs and on the road to customers within our country borders. Sometimes with a gift and sometimes for a good conversation. There are no limits to your abilities.

In addition, you will be:

• focused on achieving your revenue goals by maintaining and expanding sales contact;
• busy making annual contracts;
• busy with administration. You keep track of your sales activities in the CRM system;
• responsible for giving tours to customers.

In this position, you will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.

You will work in a hotel that works together with the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, a total combined conference space of over 1900 m2, including 11 modern and spacious conference and directors’ rooms. Through the emergence of ijVENUES, Amsterdam’s new exhibition centre, everything only becomes bigger and better. On a lovely, sunny day, you can choose between a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute cycle ride from the central station. Or you can hop on the tram from the other side of our hotel.

You like to work within a team and take ownership, with persuasiveness you know how to drag others along in your enthusiasm. You are not afraid to engage, dare to take responsibility and have a natural talent for networking. Market research and analytical thinking? That's a plus, because we like people who not only see opportunities, but also know how to seize them.

You must have:

• fluent written and spoken knowledge of the English language, and preferably the Dutch language as well.

We offer

• a monthly gross salary of between €2.493 and €3.100 in accordance with scale 6 of the Collective Labour Agreement for the Dutch hospitality and catering industry;
• a contract of 38 hours per week;
• 25 leave days and time off for any overtime;

• a travel allowance up to €200 per month, on the basis of the actual number of kilometres;
• a night-shift allowance of 20% and a Sunday allowance of 5%;
