Field Service Technician / Supervisor

We provide our customers with parts, repair and upgrade their compressors and find solutions to their technical problems.

Tasks & Responsibilities

▪ You perform maintenance and service activities on reciprocating compressors independently or under supervision of a Lead Mechanic or Supervisor.
▪ You are expected to be able to identify problems and solve them in consultation with the project manager. These problems can be both mechanical and process-related.

▪ Be able to identify potential improvements. These improvements can be converted by the technical managers and product specialists within the organization into proposals with added value for the customer.

▪ You also comply with the guidelines, work instructions and procedures related to the ISO quality management system, VCA and company regulations.
▪ Both independently and in a team, perform interventions and inspections on rotating machinery and reciprocating compressors in particular,
▪ Provide support in the preparation, planning and supervision of maintenance projects and overhauls,
▪ Reporting to the Field Service Supervison
▪ Willingness to participate in a consignment shift

Your profile

▪ Completed Secondary vocational education level 3 or 4, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering;
▪ Experience with the maintenance of Rotating Equipment and reciprocating compressors in particular;
▪ Very good technical insight;
▪ Hands-on, organizationally strong, accurate and result-oriented;
▪ Good command of the

Dutch, German

and English languages;
▪ Good communication skills;
▪ Good PC skills, mastery of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word;
▪ Driving license B/BE;
▪ Willingness to travel;
▪ VCA certificate.
