At Kinetron BV, we have long-term worldwide partnerships with market leaders in various segments including opening solutions, digital locks, access control, smartbuildings, watches, wearables, sanitary products, irrigation, and gas water heaters.

Due to the integration of Kinetron into the corporate structure of ASSA ABLOY, there is a increased and permanent need for frequent financial and compliance tasks andreporting. Therefore, the Finance and HR team will be expanded and we have an opportunity full time (38 hours/week) experienced Finance and Compliance officer to joinus on an exciting journey.

You will be responsible for financial reporting and assisting the Financial Administration and Finance & HR Manager. You will also be responsible to implement, execute,maintain and improve the compliance processes in our company.

Currently our Kinetron Finance and HR function consists of three team members; Finance & HR Manager, Finance Administrator and HR Coordinator. As a team, we workclosely together and support each other as needed. We are looking for an individual who is keen to work in a collaborative and ‘close-knit’ environment and can help usstrengthen our offering to the business as we continue to grow.

What you would do as Finance & Compliance Officer

You will have a broad variety of tasks and no day will be the same. Your main role will focus around Finance orientate duties, in which your activities willinclude, but are not limited to:

  • Assist / prepare the monthly finance reports for three companies within the fiscal union;
  • Prepare several financial reports for the Management Team and budget updates;
  • ssist in preparing the biweekly sales forecast;
  • Assist in daily finance tasks; e.g. processing incoming invoices and monitoring accounts receivables and prepare payment batches;
  • Process monthly CBS reports and prepare VAT returns;

You will also be responsible for coordinating our Compliance activities, inclusive of:

  • Deploy Group compliance programs, including anti-bribery, antitrust and export control;
  • Implement, execute, maintain and improve the compliance processes within Kinetron;
  • Lead, co-ordinate, and manage ad-hoc compliance related projects and tasks.
  • Draft, review and improve the Kinetron policies and procedures related to compliance;
  • Advise Kinetron Management on the implementation of compliance programs;
  • Together with the organization help to identify, manage and solve compliance risks, and advise on compliance topics

The skills and experience you need:

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Business Economics, Accounting or similar;
  • Proven experience in preparing monthly finance reports;
  • Preferably you have experience working in SAP Business One or a similar ERP system;
  • You enjoy working with Excel and creating / using pivot tables are within your skillset;
  • Ideally you have previous experience in Compliance, preferably gained from working with compliance matters and compliance management, e.g. anti-corruption, anti-trust and export control regulations;
  • Preferably, sound knowledge of the law and implementation of policies regarding export control and sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption and anti-trust;
  • You are eager to learn new skills and want to improve your work and the Company’s performances;
  • You have the ability to prioritize workloads and tasks;
  • You can demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when tackling new tasks;
  • Good command of written and spoken Dutch and English;
  • Good communication, social, and interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust;
  • Good knowledge of business operation and accounting;
  • Solid awareness of controls and governance;
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization;
