Nedap Identification Systems is looking for a Global Sales Director.

As Global Sales Director you will lead and coach the international sales team. Creating a strong team spirit focused on collaboration and fostering a culture focused on personal and team development are important goals.

You are also responsible for marketing the reader portfolio and you know how to set and achieve ambitious goals for both the team and individually. In order to further expand our position in the market and to unlock new opportunities, it is essential that sales processes are further professionalized and individual sales persons are supported in their personal development. That's what you're going to do!

Your responsibilities also include:

  • Responsible for the preparation of the strategic sales plan;
  • Ensuring that sales processes and systems such as CRM and BI analytics support our commercial activities;
  • Organizing and determining content for periodic team meetings;
  • Making connections with other disciplines in the organization aimed at effective collaboration;
  • Provide and guide the commercial introduction of new propositions.

Your team

The sales team is active worldwide and consists of teams in Europe, Asia Pacific and North & South America. You report directly to the Managing Director Nedap Identification Systems. You will also become part of a dynamic international market group where you will interact daily with colleagues from marketing, proposition management and sales engineering. You also work closely with system integrators and platforms that develop total solutions.

Required experiences and skills

  • HBO or WO level, in the direction of Business Administration or related education;
  • At least 3 years of experience in successfully managing commercial teams in a tech environment;
  • Experience in selling hardware and software products is an advantage;
  • Analytical ability and ability to interpret and explain financial data;
  • Inspiring and motivating team lead;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (at least 30% of the time);
  • Able to listen and pick up signals from the team and the environment.
