Technical Service & Repair Center Manager

Based on operational excellence, the TS & RC Manager supports all B. Braun BeNe entities in the execution of technical service provision towards their customers as a competitive advantage in line with the local strategy and within the legal and qualitative requirements & standards and the manufacturer’s guidelines.

The TS & RC Manager contributes to the positioning of B. Braun Medical as a professional, value-adding, trustworthy partner, anticipating and responding to customer needs.

Job Description
Principal Responsibilities

To set-up an efficient & effective TS & RC of the B. Braun TS & RC, overseeing all the B. Braun entities
To establish, implement and monitor systems and processes ensuring state of the art execution of services, and implement and maintain a measurement and reporting system to track and execute continuous improvement initiatives according to applicable standards

To ensure the efficient use of TS staff, through proper task allocation and training, capacity calculation, geographical distribution, and targeted management

End responsibility for financial control of TS resources (personnel, equipment, etc.), in line with agreed targets; reporting of financial performance

End responsibility for quality control of TS resources (personnel, material, ...) in line with applicable (parent) company standards and guidelines
To introduce and maintain management control systems according to parent company guidelines ensuring productivity and quality of TS, and enable its continuous improvement

To ensure a purposeful stock management (control) system, maintained and checked according to standards, aiming at optimal stock management, with fast turnaround times, minimal destruction of materials, minimising duplication of operations

To work closely together with all internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Care, QA & Business Support) to support the achievement of divisional objectives and act as a fact driven sparring partner to propose/evaluate future services

To guide the team implementing processes & adhering to them, to inspire the team activating the willingness to deliver state of the art services
To empower team members on their personal development, talents, securing needs & initiatives
To adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethical codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the project teams

To act diligently and according to corporate complaint guidelines through receiving, documenting & prompt forwarding of complaints/ADRs (Adverse Drug Reaction

)
Required Profile

Edcuation/Professional experience

Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
VCA-VOL certified (to be obtained within 3 months after start date)
Experience with applicable ISO nomenclatures and quality procedures
Proven success in (re)designing operational processes, with the aim of increasing efficiency, saving costs, and optimising the services offered
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in service or operations management, preferably in the healthcare sector with medical devices (commercial experience, financial reporting)

Knowledge

Professional IT literacy (Excel, MS office, CRM & ERP tooling, …)

Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO 13485, VCA**, processes and procedures
Good knowledge of medical device and its legislation
Well acquainted with procedures in hospitals and care organizations
Affinity with Electronics, Mechanical or Control Engineering is a plus
Excellent written and spoken Dutch & English skills
