Job description System Administrator

The role requires an in-depth knowledge of Backup & Recovery architectures and technology. In particular, an in depth knowledge of Veeam Backup and Recovery or Spectrum Protect.

Tasks:

• Troubleshoot stability and performance problems for Backups;
• Definition and documentation of best practice process and design;
• Install and configure Backup & Recovery hardware and software;
• Identify requirements and develop/deploy solutions for Backup environments;
• Knowledge of working for a company supporting a large number of backups;
• Strong knowledge of at least one operating system;
• Clear verbal and written communication to peers and management;
• Willingness to travel between NL and UK and globally as required.

Requirements System Administrator

• fluent in the

English

and

Dutch

language.

• based in the Netherlands

Desirable:

• Experience of Veeam Backup and Replication;
• Experience of Spectrum Protect administration;
• Knowledge of client operating systems Windows/RHEL/Solaris;
• Knowledge of VMWare.

• The ability to proiritize multiple tasks;
• The ability to work to deadlines;
• Demonstrate fluexibility and commitment to the role;
• The ability to work well with a team and customers split across locations.
