Agrarisch Proces Manager

Voor een bedrijf in de Kaukasus dat werkzaam is in de Diervoerdersector zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren en gedreven procesmanger/ingenieur.
Het jonge bedrijf dat diervoeders aanbiedt aan mellkveebedrijven in deze regio is inmiddels een aantal jaar actief. Naast dit aanbod bieden zij ook hun advies over voerrantoensen voor melkvee aan zijn zij werkzaam in de verkoop van apparatuur voor deze bedrijfstak van melkveehouderij.

Het Nederlandse moederbedrijf is gericht op sociaal ondernemerschap, het verbeteren van het levensonderhoud van lokale mensen, een holistische benadering die God eer brengt. Vanwege de uitbreiding en opzet van een circulaire lijn voor het produceren van bijproducten is dit bedrijf op zoek naar een procesmanager die deze lijn kan opzetten.

Position
We are looking for a process engineer with affinity to agri-business to help us develop new business
activities for 2024, in particular to develop a new processing line for feed pellets. Responsibilities will
include design and set-up of the processing line, business plan development, and team building. You
will have to regularly communicate with the TGS Holland director, and will be mentored by a Dutch
TGS livestock expert.
Job description

• Design a new processing line for animal feed pellets
• Explore opportunity to use renewable energy as energy source for the processing line
• Ensure that procurement of equipment meets the technical requirements specified in design
• Take responsibility for setting up the processing line to point of smooth operation
• Develop quality control procedure to ensure that products meet EU feed safety standards
• Train technical and other skills of the team on operation and maintenance of processing line and quality

• Assist in further developing the business plan.

Job requirements:

• Process technology degree, preferably with additional courses in business economics or business

administration

• Minimum of two years experience with operation of processing/production lines and in the use of

renewable energy

• Affinity with animal production
• Affinity with business case development
• Good communication skills, with good command of English
• Good problem solving skills
• Team player with flexibility to pick up a variety of tasks in a small team
• Results- and goal oriented
• Fit with identity of the company
