The internship

The internship will take place within the Product management department, which is a very wide profession, dealing with almost anything product related between introduction and phase out, and often much more. The amount of variation makes this role really diverse.

The project does not pertain to a single, defined endeavour. Instead, it encompasses a variety of separate tasks that might involve sustainability reporting, researching and analysing the HVAC- market and competitors, finding ways to reduce cost, revising processes or redefining ways of working/reporting, as well as smaller tasks. The role offers a diverse experience with the opportunity to have a say in your tasks and motivations, encouraging self-driven projects and improvements.

Aalberts Industries is a global active specialist in high-quality products and processes. Aalberts hydronic flow control (Ahfc), headquarters in Almere, consist of several companies (Comap Group, Flamco Group, Nexus, Sentinel and UWS Technologies). Ahfc operates in 43 locations in 23 countries and develops and produces complete hydronic systems – from source to emitter- for heating and cooling systems for architects, specifying institutes and building owners. The systems are designed for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, both new build and renovation. Hydronic flow control focus on realising energy efficiency (saving of energy costs and increasing comfort) through improved performance of heating and cooling systems. Ahfc’s core is defined by an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a pragmatic approach to work.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are a (non graduation) student at any University (WO) or University of applied sciences/college (HBO). While open to all fields, there is a preference for business-oriented studies that have interface with business administration, communication, analytics, IT or marketing
  • You are able to communicate with international internal and external stakeholders in English. German and French are beneficial.
  • You are a self-starting student, who can proactively bring their projects forward using basic logic and problem solving skills;
  • You dislike idleness and are naturally curious .
