The Head of Retail NL plays a critical role in building and reinforcing strong and trustful long-term relationships with all retail customers in the Dutch market. You seize business opportunities to create profitable and sustainable growth and will initially be the lead contact for all accounts. In this role you are responsible for developing channel and customer strategies, leading negotiations, and ensuring the right promotion of Bel’s product range. Bel Benelux is looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Retail that embraces change and has excellent negotiation skills. A track record in building strong partnerships with customers is vital to be successful in this role. You are a courageous game changer that dares to innovate. It is also important that you actively inspire and lead your team to take all necessary actions to grow, including excellent customer satisfaction. You know how to develop people’s talents whilst accelerating transformation and dare to challenge the status-quo.

Candidate profile
  • 7+ years of sales experience in FMCG and a track record in retail
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a strategic and problem-solving mindset, also under pressure
  • People manager with strong analytical, communicative, project management and presentation skills
  • Commercial, self-starter, result oriented, eye for detail, game changer
  • Positive and collaborative mindset, energetic, transparent, culture sensitive, strong values, trustworthy
  • Fluent in Dutch, knowledge of English
