Job description

As financial controller you contribute to the management, information and reporting of this creative and innovative organization.
You are part of the Finance & Control department and support management in making well-considered decisions at a strategic level.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Financial planning and analysis: budget cycle, financial forecasts and analyses to enable management to make informed decisions. Ensuring that guidelines around reporting are followed;
• Internal control: co-securing the administrative organization and internal control;
• Reporting: financial reports for management, but also for the group/shareholder. Supervision of external audits;
• Cost control: monitoring costs and budget. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in cooperation with business control;
• Risk Management: identify and manage (financial) risks and be a sparring partner for the (financial) management.

Job requirements

You are by nature someone who can work well together. You can communicate pleasantly and clearly and enjoy taking the lead, for example, improving financial processes. You can work accurately and carefully and based on the right information you make decisive decisions and can substantiate them well.

• Do you have a completed bachelor+/wo education in business economics, controlling or accountancy;
• You have several years of experience as financial controller or in accountancy;
• You enjoy reporting and reporting/consolidation;
• You have excellent knowledge of the English and Dutch language in word and writing;
• You have a good command of Excel;
• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
