Job description Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer/IDQ. As a Data Quality Engineer you and your teammates are responsible for the (technical) implementation of our data quality rules. As a DevOps’er you are involved in the entire process, from start to finish. Taking in new data from the Data warehouse, creating profiles, developing or changing data quality rules, creating scorecards are part of the tasks within this role. In addition, we continue to invest in the high quality of our delivered software by structurally testing each other's work. In addition to developing new software also part of the job are recurring operational tasks.

You are an active member of the Agile/Scrum team with your primary focus on Data Quality software operations and monitoring. You have broad knowledge of software development and knowledge about the business domain for which you work for. You dare to challenge and are open in your communication towards your own team, your customers and other stakeholders. You are eager to improve and take a leading role within the team on how to build, automate and streamline our processes.

Job requirements Software Engineer

You are an experienced Software Engineer with proven knowledge and experience in IT automation projects or data quality / ETL project solutions.
You have completed a bachelor degree preferably in Information Technology or similar;
Work experience (must haves)

• Knowledge on Informatica IDQ platform / Informatica ETL tool or any other similar ETL / DQ Tool;
• Have experiences in Installation, upgrade and troubleshooting with software on Linux;
• Good experience of Linux processes, shell scripting, debugging issues of application runs;
• 3-5+ years working experience with Linux operations with ETL / DQ tools (writing shell-scripts to invoke mappings or workflows or other jobs);
• 3-5+ years working experience with Linux for making scripting for doing Deployments / Migration or Automations;
• Experience with operations support;
• 3-5+ years working experience of Oracle / SQL;
• Experience of Designing and developing Job executions Automation solutions for Projects using Scheduling tools / own scripting;
• Should be familiar with CI/CD in deploying and validating objects to different environments;
• Skills with developing Scripts for CICD pipelines using Shell scripts / YAML for components like ETL / DB / File System objects;
• 2-3+ years working experience in Data Warehousing / Data Projects;
• Excellent English language skills (speaking and writing), Dutch is a big plus.
