Product Application Engineer

Join our “Starter Excellence Program” to become our next Product Application Engineer and start your sales-oriented career!

Develop customized solutions! Serving the world’s leading manufacturers is a grateful but challenging task. Thus, we are constantly looking for ingenious talents who are fascinated by the development of technology, individual customer demands and changing markets. Your challenge as Product Application Engineer is to meet customers and develop specific poduct solutions according to their needs. After developing such solutions you ensure their right use by training both, customers as well as internal colleagues. As an expert on your products you act as the ‘technical conscience’ of it in your country. Finally, you consult your colleagues when facing challenging questions about the products.

„Starter Excellence Program“ for Product Application Engineers

This six months starter program offers a profound entry into the company and imparts a deep understanding of the company, its values, the departments, the products and processes. This enables a very fast but extensive incorporation so that you will get involved in the actual big projects alongside the senior engineering very quickly.

The „Starter Excellence Program” comprises the following stages within the headquarters of Angst+Pfister in Zurich, Switzerland and Angst Pfister Advaned Technical Solutions in Bursa, Turkey:

• Various weeks at our production sites
• Various weeks at the Group Quotation & Sourcing Team
• Various weeks as Sales Agent
• Approximately one week at the CAD-Design Team
• Various weeks project work with the Senior Engineering

Afterwards you will start your work within one of our international business units for the current big projects. One of the first tasks will be to join the development of a market cultivation strategy. A clear and transparent career structure allows you to set your targets and plan your individual career. Strategic Procurement Specialist

Join our Group Quotation & Sourcing team and become our next Strategic Procurement Specialist representing the challenging interfaces of Sales and Procurement.

Complex solutions require complex negotiations! Providing customized solutions to the world’s leading manufacturers is a grateful but challenging task. To deliver these solutions we rely on trusted and profound relations with our producing partners. Developing new solutions implies finding new suppliers and discussing hese solutions also with existing partners. Your challenge as a member of our Group Quotation & Sourcing team (GQS) is to meet the customer’s requirements as well as sourcing strategically for a suitable supplier. Besides answering requests for quotations from all our global offies, you will develop concepts of procurement strategies, look for optimization and – if necessary – initiate contacts with alternative suppliers. By articulating technical features and benefits of our poducts you support internal and external sales staff of Angst+Pfister.
