Team Cylon:

You will be part of team Cylon. An exciting team that is setting the pace for AI & Analytics development in the IT-tribes that are closest to our customers. Together with data scientists, architect, cloud/ data engineer and data analysts you will be tasked with setting up new use cases that serve the bank and/or our customers. We support both IT-processes of other teams AND develop new products that improve the life of our customers.

In the past couple of years, Domain Distribution has explored the potential of Data & AI in our world. Significant steps have been made in creating awareness of what AI is, hiring our first data scientists and executing various use cases. Based on these experiences, we have learned that Data & AI technologies support our mission to increase speed of development processes and unleashes creativity to develop new innovative solutions. This is why using AI to optimize IT development and run processes is one of our focus areas in 2022 and beyond.

Based on our experiences we believe that AI enables engineers to develop features in a smarter and more efficient way. It optimizes change and run activities to deliver high-quality features more quickly. To increase speed, AI can be applied on massive amounts of machine data to find patterns and provide insights which cannot be identified by engineers manually. To support the development of AI algorithms and models around development and operational (DevOps) processes we are looking for an analytics translator, or business analyst with affinity for the data science domain, who can support the technical team to make the next step in their maturity. The analytics translator role supports the team by defining problems that analytics can solve and guides the technical team to deliver actionable insights.

The role:

• Acts as the liaison between the data team and other (tech) teams to produce insights that developers can execute on.
• Works closely together with a team of data scientist to designs the algorithms and models to mine and organize complex DevOps data.
• Supports the data science team with testing and learning from short development cycles, or “sprints” deliver effective solutions quickly.
• Translate insights from algorithms into refined, easy to understand and actionable formats (e.g. dashboards or reports).
• Works closely together with the Analytics competence center to adopt and implement one way-of-working to improve effectiveness and compliancy of the team.
• Ensures quality and integrity of data (insights) provided to business.
• Is a coach to the team members, helps them to become better versions of themselves.

Functie eisen

• At least 3 years of experience in similar role
• Strong communicator (both verbal and written)
• Knowledge around DevOps processes or experience as a software engineer/tester is preferable
• (Strategic) Consulting experience is highly recommended.
