Wat ga je doen?

Are you an experienced ICT professional who is looking for a job where you have the opportunity to work on innovative ICT solutions every day? Are you in the market for a job that makes your social heart beat faster? The position of Data Engineer DevOps at Enexis might be just the ticket. You will work on innovative software that prepares the Dutch energy grid for a sustainable future, together with a young, close-knit and motivated team.

These are your tasks:

As a Data Engineer DevOps at Enexis, you will seek out opportunities to use ICT to, for example, make smarter use of the capacity of Enexis' energy grid so that the energy transition can proceed. You will work in a team of about ten people. You will work on solutions to data, innovation and sensor issues for colleagues from all corners of the organisation, using the agile method. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that data is transformed into information by combining a variety of data sources. In addition, you will bring knowledge to the table of data modelling, ETL and SQL, and dive deeper into the Enexis Data Platform. Smart use of big data from our systems runs like a common thread through your work. At the same time, you keep an eye out for new technologies that can help our ICT landscape take the next leap forward. In short: a job that will keep you interested and requires you to stay pretty sharp as an ICT professional.

A customer-oriented team player, who communicates effortlessly and is happy to guide less experienced team members. Moreover, thanks to your know-how, you will be a full-fledged member of the team in no time. With the energy transition in full swing, this is important as there is plenty to do.

We are looking for a professional with:

• A university or university of applied sciences degree (e.g. Computer Science or Electrical Engineering);
• Knowledge of and at least five years' experience with data modelling, ETL and SQL;
• Good command of Dutch, verbal and written;
• Experience with Matillion and Snowflake is a plus;
• Experience in processing large amounts of (streaming) data is a plus;
• Knowledge of the AWS platform is a plus;
• Knowledge of front-end tools, particularly Power BI & Mendix, is a plus;
• Knowledge of Agile/scrum is a plus;
• Knowledge of AWS Monitoring;
• Knowledge of Kinesis;
• Knowledge of Kimball/Ster moduling;
• Knowledge of Snowpipe;
• Knowledge of PowerBi (reporting) is a plus;
• Knowledge of GIT.

Wat krijg je van ons?

In exchange for your energy, Enexis will take care of you well. Here’s what you can expect:

• This consists of a base salary between €3.863 and €5.519 supplemented with a personal budget (10%) and a 13th month (10.7%). You can use these budgets flexibly, for additional leave days, for example.
• Vacation bonus in the amount of 8% of your gross salary.
• We contribute 70% of your ABP Flexible Pension premium.
• The option to define your own work week flexibly. We consider it vital for our employees to maintain a good balance between work and personal life. That means that if you need to bring your kids to school before work or simply want to start your day with a workout at the gym, that’s just fine.
• An annual vitality budget of €500. This can go towards things like gym membership or a consult by a nutritional coach.
• Commute travel reimbursement and a mobility card with a 1st class public transportation subscription.
• All the space you need for personal growth. Because this, too, is one of our top priorities. That means that if you want to attend a workshop or take a training course, chances are good that we will pay for it.
