Our client is one of the leading renewable energy companies globally, with a significant presence in wind and solar power generation. The company continues to invest in expanding its renewable energy capacity while also modernizing and optimizing its conventional power generation assets.For their biomass power plant, they are on a lookout for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer. As a part of Engineering and Maintenance (E&M) department, you collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Safety Integrity Level (SIL), DCS Engineers.
Together, you are tasked with developing maintenance plans to ensure the optimal technical performance of plant installations. This involves regular coordination with both the Daily Maintenance team and the Operations department to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.

- Creating maintenance plans using SAP, informed by thorough analyses and verifications, and ensuring alignment with specified requirements.
- Overseeing spare parts management based on criticality assessments tailored to the operation.
- Contributing insights for maintenance budget applications and future investment planning.
- Initiating and overseeing modifications, drafting project specifications, and overseeing project acceptance.
- Assisting the maintenance department in troubleshooting complex malfunctions by analyzing and resolving issues.
- Actively participating in multidisciplinary teams to identify root causes of incidents post-occurrence (Root Cause Analysis).
What do you need
- You have completed a HBO/WO education in electrical engineering or similar
- You have at least 8 years of relevant work experience in the energy, oil, gas or chemical industry.
- You have knowledge of IEC 61511
- You can write a clear and substantive complete Technical Assignment Statement (TOS) that can be prepared and executed by your own staff or contractor.
