We are looking for a Project Engineer. At Aurora Netherlands, in Nuenen, we are specialized in making climate control systems for city and regional buses. Goal-oriented, and with a lot of fun we make products that offer the best climate comfort for both drivers and passengers. As a Project Engineer you are the link between the design and the mechanical components. Your work will consist of setting, adjusting and producing according to working drawings. Functieomschrijving

As a Project engineering, you will have a varied and responsible position. You maintain relationships with customers and are responsible for planning, development and implementation of complex climate systems with OEM customers. However, as Project engineer you are not only involved in planning. You are also closely involved in the commissioning of delivered (prototype) systems at the OEM customer. You are responsible for efficient coordination between the customer and the internal organization (sales, engineering, purchasing, development).

• Responsible for planning, tracking and monitoring the quality of projects
• Monitoring capacity limits in engineering, production and testing
• Contactpoint for customers regarding specifications, progress and planning
• Drafting and monitoring the project planning and delivery times
• Creating final reports and taking care of the project administration
• For large projects, you will travel to the client for commissioning and/or join the Sales arrangements in the preliminary phase
• You will report to the Head of Engineering

Functie-eisen

Job requirements

• A completed technical HBO education, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering
• Experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of thermodynamics is a plus
• Good command of the Dutch and English language is a requirement, German is an advantage
• Being able to switch easily between different focus areas
