What does the job entail?

As an inside sales advisor for private individuals, you and a team of specialists are the point of contact in the field of non-life and life insurance for existing and new customers. You will help customers choose the right insurance coverage and supervise the application and changes. You identify commercial opportunities and take a proactive approach. You initiate cross-selling opportunities and handle these independently. You maintain frequent contact with clients, insurers and our internal claims department. The customer experiences your added value by providing optimal, customer-oriented and good service.

Your challenges as an inside sales consultant for private individuals

Are:

  • To be the point of contact for (existing) relations in the field of non-life and life insurance such as funeral, death risk insurance and annuities;
  • Educate relationships and provide underwriting information;
  • Conducting, both written and telephone correspondence, with clients, insurers, our internal claims department and third parties;
  • Spotting and picking up commercial opportunities;
  • Supporting the field sales consultant;
  • Prepare and follow up on appropriate and competitive bids;
  • Actively thinking about and implementing improvement processes;
  • Processing new applications, policies and mutations.

What's in return?

  • A fixed-term employment contract with the prospect of permanent employment and a gross full-time salary between €2,454 and €3,682, depending on experience;
A personal choice budget (PKB), made up of various benefits including 8% vacation allowance. You can use the budget for various purposes;
  • A work week of 32 to 40 hours;
Flexibility through hybrid working;
25 vacation days (based on full-time employment), 5 of which are included in your personal choice budget (PKB);
  • Two additional days off per year that you may take on a day that is special to you;
  • A pension plan;
  • A travel allowance: Do you travel by car? Then you get €0.21 per km. Do you come walking or by bike? Then you get € 0.25 per km. Do you travel by public transport? Then your public transport costs (based on 2nd class travel) will be fully reimbursed;
  • A home office allowance (€2.15 per day) and a home office budget;
Staff discount on your insurance, mortgage, buying, selling and appraising your home.

What does the team look like?

Leusden. As private insurance consultant you will operate in a dynamic team of four employees in the private office. The team works closely together with some colleagues from the field and with the private insurance team of ten employees in Apeldoorn, there is a weekly joint consultation. In these teams work both very experienced colleagues and colleagues who have just started in the profession. You solve a lot together and work well together. There is an informal working atmosphere with driven and committed colleagues. An inspiring and challenging work environment where you have plenty of room for your own initiatives, personal development and where suggestions for improvement are appreciated. Responsibility, challenge and job satisfaction are paramount.

What we ask of you.

You have an eye for the customer and service is really your thing. You love challenges, have passion for the job and are able to keep up with the rapidly changing and innovative environment. Additionally:

  • At least a completed secondary vocational education (level 4);
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position in the insurance market;
  • Are you in possession of the diplomas Wft Basis, Wft Schadeverzekeringen particulier and Wft Vermogen. If you do not yet have the latter diploma, you should be prepared to obtain it on short notice;
  • Willing to further develop yourself by obtaining job-related degrees;
  • A good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
  • Do you have good social skills and can work in a team as well as independently.
