NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

  • The position is responsible for government, corporate and travel agent room sales
  • Must possess a clear understanding of the hotels business strategies to set goals and determine action plan to meet those goals
  • Implement action plans related to the positions market area
  • Responsible for identifying new markets and opportunities to increase sales
  • Represents the hotel at various industry events
  • Works closely with Revenue Management to ensure to maximize the total revenue opportunity from the market
  • Provides timely responses and/or immediate communications to develop long term professional relationships
  • Targets key new accounts for the hotel
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers
  • Prepares sales proposals for clients
  • Closely follows-up on all business leads within 24 hours
  • Additional duties as assigned.

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in hospitality management, marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience as Sales Manager
  • experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal. Other languages a plus.
  • Must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively via email
  • Polished personal presentation with warm, confident and gracious personality
  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Attention to detail.

Employment Requirements:

Employees must be able to furnish necessary identification providing eligibility to work in the United States as defined in the immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA). If hired, the employee must complete and submit an Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) at the start of employment. This position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas.
