What is your role?

The Sales Management department at Lely is dedicated to the global rollout of Salesforce CRM and CPQ applications for our esteemed Lely Center network. Our mission is to define and streamline the processes essential for Lely Centers, known as 'Lely Ways of Working'. Headquartered in Maassluis, our team primarily supports Lely Clusters, empowering them to assist Lely Centers effectively within their respective regions.

We are seeking a dynamic Competence Lead to spearhead the further development of our Sales Management competence, ensuring the creation of a robust and future-ready sales channel.

This role demands a comprehensive end-to-end mindset and approach, developing, and maintaining the commercial skills and expertise of employees within the Lely organization with talent development strategies.

As the appointed competence reference, you will serve as the primary point of contact for various Lely International departments and the cluster network. For topics such as sales content development, Lely Ways of Working and tool adoption, and E2E sales competence.

This role also brides the gap between strategic and operational roles while collaborating closely with IT counterparts. To ensure an alignment between the business and Lely International, regular visits to Lely Centers, Clusters, and farmers globally are an integral part of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:
  • Put into practice the strategic vision for the Sales Management competence in collaboration with the Lely Clusters and Centers
  • Create a competence development roadmap.
  • Drive the realization of the roadmap, making sure the correct business stakeholders are supporting the projects.
  • Assess how Lely Cluster and Lely Center teams are performing against the Sales Management Competence.

Promote Adoption:
  • Collaborate with Clusters and Lely Centers on adoption of Lely Ways of Working and Sales tooling
  • Ensure stakeholders have the necessary training to accurately follow the ways of working
  • Coach and mentor Sales Super Users

Develop Training Structure and Content:
  • Collaborate with the Lely Academy and other stakeholders to create trainings
  • Promote and measure Sales Certification program participation
  • Owner of the structure of Sales Advisors and sales managers trainings
  • Content Responsible for competence related trainings

Developing competence in the business:
  • Is the bridge between the product owners and the business
  • Proposes improvements to existing ways of working and tools from experience with the business
  • Develops competence team and Lely International on commercial best practices

End-2-end ownership:
  • Responsible to promote Advisory Selling Process in the business
  • Contributes to priority setting of the competence
  • Drives cooperation with the business and Lely International

What is your experience?

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in successful sales. Management role is preferred.
  • Experience in strategic competence development and project management.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a must and CPQ is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.
  • You are currently living in the Netherlands and have a valid work permit
