What will you do
as a Trailer Mechanic with MOT?
As a trailer mechanic, you’ll have a highly varied role. In addition to performing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and MOT inspections on trailers and tail lifts, you may also need to assist a customer with an unexpected issue. Customers can drop by without an appointment, so flexibility in prioritizing tasks is essential.

While diplomas are certainly valued, we’re also eager to give motivated candidates the opportunity to develop. We offer various training options, including specific moments for MOT certification. However, prior experience in our industry is important.

What we

offer you
A full-time contract for 40 hours a week
25 vacation days and 13 ATV (reduction of working hours) days for full-time employees
A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position
A gross salary between €2,600 to €3,250 per month, based on a full-time contract, and depending on your experience and age
MOT (roadworthiness) certification training opportunities because we value your qualifications!

As a trailer mechanic, it’s important that you’re willing to learn and teach others. Our workshop is open from 07:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 08:00 to 12:30 on Saturdays. We work in shifts on weekdays to provide optimal service to our customers.

does your workday look like?

Start of your workday.

You begin your workday by changing into your work attire and grabbing a cup of coffee. Then, you discuss the day’s tasks with the front office staff.

MOT Inspection

You conduct MOT inspections on trailers, performing thorough checks to meet legal requirements.

Addressing Advisory Points

After the inspection, you focus on repairing any advisory points identified. These repairs ensure that the vehicles are safe and compliant with standards.

Assisting a Colleague

A colleague needs help with a malfunction, and you offer your expertise to troubleshoot the issue together.

Lunch Break

You take a break and enjoy lunch with your colleagues, a moment to recharge.

RDW Random Inspection

After completing the inspections and repairs, you register the vehicles for the MOT. You receive a random inspection from the RDW to verify the accuracy of your work.

MOT Inspections and Documentation

In the afternoon, you successfully conduct two inspections for scheduled trailers. These inspections go smoothly, and you register both vehicles. Throughout the day, you meticulously document all inspections and repairs, resulting in a clear and accurate record.

End of the workday!

Your workday ends, knowing that the vehicles are ready for the road and that you have contributed to safety and compliance. Tomorrow awaits a new day with challenges and opportunities.
