DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer at JOZ, you will have an important role in automating and streamlining our software delivery and deployment processes. You will not only manage and monitor our infrastructure but also oversee the seamless migration of our on-premises systems to the Azure cloud. This includes everything from computing services and databases to authentication mechanisms and more. Join our team and use the power of robotics to transform farming!

Your role

As a DevOps Engineer you will have the following key responsibilities

• Design, build and migrate our Azure environment, including architecture design, on-premises server migration, centralization of databases, and implement containerization and orchestration using Docker containers and Kubernetes for scalable and manageable deployments while ensuring comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices is maintained;
• Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment (CI/CD) and automation, implement and manage automation pipelines for software builds, testing and deployments;
• Monitoring and alerting, set up monitoring solutions to track system and application performance, with proactive alerts for issue resolution. Troubleshoot problems in a timely and effective manner to minimize downtime;
• Ensure security best practices, access control, vulnerability assessments, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Your profile

Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent level or education in a relevant field such as computer science, software engineering

• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Services, specifically Azure
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, releasing monitoring our cloud infrastructure and environment
• Experience in building continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Experience with GIT, Docker or/and Kubernetes
• Knowledge in security and best practices
• Experience or wiliness to manage a small team working on cloud infrastructure and cloud applications (Full Stack, DevOps etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
• Knowledge in scripting. Knowledge in ReactJS, C#, Python
