Workday HCM Functional Implementation Consultant

In your job you will be part of the Workday HCM implementation team where you will deliver Human Capital Management Cloud transformations. You will lead and design Workday HCM which meet the complex requirements of international clients. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing end-2-end processes where Workday will be part of the future-proof HR landscape. As a Workday HCM functional consultant, you will not only configure and test the Cloud solution, but you will also be a business advisor for the client where you will propose the best solution regardless of the technical possibilities. While optimizing Workday HCM, you’ll always keep an eye on the user experience and ensure end-users will adopt Workday easily.

Moreover, you will be part of an international diverse team which may include international travel. This opportunity is available for employment either in Belgium or the Netherlands.

Your team

Our colleagues in the services-based Technology group help clients, both big and small, with revolutionary IT transformations. Which cloud platform fits best with client X? How do certain IT-solutions impact the risk analysis of suppliers? How can organizations become more agile and through what process are new applications developed from design thinking workshops?

Working closely alongside clients and an international team of professionals you will develop innovative solutions, through mediums such as robotics and artificial intelligence. Throughout the business process you will engage in the development of defense strategies, combining technology and user behavior, to ensure the security of your client. Together we connect the needs of clients with upcoming innovative technologies prepare them for the future.

As part of the Workday Business Group, you'll be physically joining our BeNeLux team and by extension joining our global Workday Business Group practice and together with 3000 colleagues do your part in helping our customers with their implementation.

Qualifications

Your background

  • You have experience in working with the Workday platform, either as a consultant or as an end user and/or you have a strong HR background
  • Master or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management or Business Studies
  • Experience and ideally certification in the Workday Core HCM module is expected. Additionally, experience & interest in one or multiple of the following specializations is a plus: Workday Absence ; Workday Time Tracking ; Workday Talent & Performance; Workday Recruiting; Workday Talent; Workday Learning; Workday PRISM; ...
  • You are an EU citizen and open to travel on a 20% basis (approx.)
  • Strong preference for fluency in either French or Dutch + English
  • You preferably hold a drivers’ license
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
