FPGA/VHDL Engineer

As an FPGA/VHDL engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team within the engineering department consisting of engineers in the fields of hardware, embedded software, FPGA firmware and LabVIEW.

You will participate in the specification, design, simulation, realization and debugging of complex FPGA and SoC (System on Chip) architectures. You do this in a team context, under the leadership of a project manager together with a system architect and/or other FPGA/VHDL engineer.

This position is suitable for people who want to develop further in the FPGA world, who are looking for a versatile job and who have a very high quality awareness.

Job requirements

In order to perform the job well, we require that you have:

• a completed education at HBO or WO, preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering or Technical Informatics/Computer Engineering
• Knowledge of VHDL
• Knowledge of Xilinx and/or Intel (Altera) FPGA tooling.
• affinity with hardware and embedded software is an advantage
• Experience with model-based design is an advantage
• An accurate and pro-active attitude
• Good communication skills, both within the development team and externally to customers
• A team player with a do-mentality who can also work independently.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
• eager to learn
• Living in the region Twente or Eindhoven, or willing to relocate here.
• In possession of a drivers license B
