International Key Account Manager

For our client, a premium car manufacturer from China, we are searching for
an
International Key Account Manager
in
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
As an International Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing the company's relationships with its most critical international clients. Your primary goal will be to sustain and grow our business with these key accounts by understanding their needs, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will act as the main point of contact between the company and its largest international customers, working closely with them to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Responsibilities:
Account Management: Develop strong relationships with key international clients to ensure long-term business partnerships in Europe. Act as the primary point of contact for all key account matters.

Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities within potential key accounts in Europe. Understand the European market and customer needs to propose solutions that meet their objectives and drive mutual growth.

Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategic plans for managing and expanding key accounts on an international level.

Sales Targets: Achieve assigned sales targets and objectives within key accounts. Monitor and
analyze
performance metrics to ensure goals are met.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.

Market Analysis: Conduct EU market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use this information to inform strategic decisions and account management practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that our offerings remain competitive.

Reporting: Provide regular reports on account status, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Use reports to manage account
details and sales activities.
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the line manager, which may vary according to the needs of the department or organization.

 

Requirements:
Bachelor's or
master’s
degree in business administration
, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development from global automotive companies.
Strong understanding of international business practices and cultural considerations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with executives and decision-makers.
Strategic thinker with analytical skills to assess complex situations and develop effective plans.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Fluent in English and at least one other language; additional languages are a plus.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
