We are seeking 1-2 student research assistants for our DFG-funded project at FASoS on
. The project analyses how these norms change in the wake of the rise of Brazil, China and India.
Tasks include assistance in the compilation and analysis of qualitative data, literature reviews on project-relevant topics and some editing tasks.
Focus areas for the work of the student assistant(s) will be the cases of agriculture and/or intellectual property rights in WTO negotiations.
We seek students with excellent command of English, good knowledge of research skills, and an interest in International Relations. Familiarity with the World Trade Organisation and/or Brazil, India and China as rising powers are an asset. Applicants should be willing and able to work in a team.

The work load is 20 hours per week. There is a possibility to split the position so that two students work 10 hours per week each. The estimated starting day of the position(s) is 1 November 2020 (contract until end of August 2021, possibility of extension until end of 2021). Pay is in line with UM regulations for student assistants.
