Collaborating foreman bodywork construction

Tijhof is looking for a cooperating foreman bodywork construction. In this role you work as a manager, manage and supervise the steel bodywork department. You are responsible for planning and you are the point of contact for the department. Car transporters (bodies and trailers) are built in the steel department.
Some experience is an advantage, but we are certainly also interested in people with managerial skills, who have knowledge of metalworking techniques, welding and constructions.

Your work:

• Directing, instructing and guiding employees.
• Participate in work consultations and/or toolbox meetings.
• Planning (own) work.
• General metalworking techniques / welding and construction.
• Inspecting and checking end products.

Your profile:

• You are solution-oriented and can work accurately and independently.
• You can lead and work in a team.
• You know how to tackle and motivate.
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language in word and writing.
• Available full-time.

Education level and experience:

• Experience with MIG/MAG welding and/or a completed technical VMBO/MBO training.
• You have experience as a construction fitter / body builder and read drawings.
• Relevant material knowledge and experience with general metalworking techniques.
