Transform our clients into Data Driven Enterprises and help them manage and govern data, unlock business value from data assets and define new business models. As a Senior Manager Data Governance, you will be managing inspiring client projects focused on the management of data as a strategic asset. Your responsibilities include:

  • Co-create with clients to shape and sell project work; architect how to use data management capabilities to drive client transformation for industry or functional use cases
  • Shape the Data Management & Governance strategy and operating model with our clients, defining how to set them up as data driven enterprise
  • Do data-driven storytelling through dashboards and data visualization
  • Lead and manage teams to deliver transformative and innovative client projects on-time and on-budget
  • Advise and shape the technical architecture our clients need to get the most out of their data
  • Manage client relationships to foster trust, deliver value and build the Accenture brand
  • Drive consulting practice innovation and thought leadership in your area of specialization

People

You will act as SME in multidisciplinary project teams which will be the linking pin between different business functions and IT stakeholders in which data-driven related topics are centralized. You act as a mentor for the people in our team and coach them on their career development as well as build and grow the team, actively developing core Data management skills and shaping the teams’ strategic direction. You will advise C-level management in their strategic blueprints – based on data analysis, experience, expertise and an innovative approach. Together with a diverse team of experts, you will challenge current industry obstacles and find the key solution for clients in their current markets: Surpassing the disruption through our end-to-end services, consolidating future success for organizations. Client profiles that you will work a lot with are Chief Data Officers (CDO), Chief Information Officers (CIO), Product Owners, IT & system architects, business solution architects, data engineers, data specialists, master data management specialists and business analysts.

Processes

You will shape out the scope and consult projects that focus on assessing, designing and improving the client’s data governance related processes and workflows to collect, organize, protect, store and share data more effectively. Your daily work will include data-driven storytelling and data strategy and building client relationships to foster trust, co-create value and build the Accenture brand. You provide thought leadership on projects around strategic data management & governance solutions to contribute to achieving the organizational objectives.

Technology

You will lead the team to evaluate, recommend, select, and implement data management tools and technologies. These technologies can be used for capturing and store metadata, measure data quality, define the data lineage & governance. As a Data Governance Senior Manager, you will also act as a SME for projects which involve working with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, Data Catalogs, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Visualization tools and much more. Tools your team will work with can be Alteryx, Azure, Informatica, Collibra, Salesforce, SAP, Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau

Data

As a Data Governance Senior Manager, you assess the Data Governance maturity together with client teams. Subsequently you come up with concepts and implementation of data, analytics, and governance solutions to address the challenges faced by our clients.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Qualifications

Here's what you'll need

  • A Bachelor and Master’s degree in a relevant field (business, economics, econometrics, Computer Science)
  • 5+ years using Data Management frameworks to achieve business goals in large orgs
  • 8+ years working in a consulting capacity, or project management type roles helping clients make their companies work better. Experience must include significant business, practice, people development and business development.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written)

You have experience in the following areas

  • Business Translator (identifying business problem, initiative, maturity assessment, storytelling)
  • Data Governance: Data Lineage (Data Life Cycle), Data Ownership​, Master Data Management (MDM)​, Data Definition, meta data management, Data Access Management, Data Quality
  • Data & Analytics Transformation (current state assessment, operating models, value case, roadmap, and blueprint)
  • Data Architecture, data modeling, and data platforms practices
  • Proven track-record in business development (e.g., creating value propositions, responding to RFPs)

Bonus points if you have

  •  You have certifications in DAMA-DMBOK (Data Management Body of Knowledge)
