Functie

You will
Develop, update and promote our professional services that will be sold to customers and implemented by the field application engineers.
Be the service representative in the Product Development programs. You will provide the service requirements and collaborate with the engineering, service and marketing teams so that our products are designed for serviceability and all needed deliverables are produced with the required quality and on time.

Responsibilities

Representing the services aspects and the application of the service strategy in the Product Lifecycle (PLC) programs.
Developing, creating and producing the support documents and software utilities for our professional services
Training our field apps engineers on professional services
Working with a multi-disciplinary development team, reviewing new and existing designs to address serviceability considerations.
Developing design rules and guidance to enable or enhance serviceability.
Working with Field Service Engineers and Development Engineers to understand existing process and service data capture capabilities, and opportunities.

Establishing and maintaining metrics to identify weak spots and chart progress in serviceability, leveraging existing product lifecycle feedback channels or proposing/creating new ones.

Collecting feedback from the field in order to continuously improve our products and services

Profiel

MS degree in electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.
Minimum 4 years direct experience working with field organization
Minimum 2 years design engineering experience
You are curious about technology and eager to develop your technical expertise
Demonstrated ability to develop product requirements for serviceability, including hardware, software, system, safety, and documentation requirements
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
Demonstrated ability to balance cost, quality and schedule constraints while escalating issues as needed.
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical concept aptitude.
You are dynamic and like to interact with people
You are proficient in English
Ready to travel up to 15% of your time
Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Proficient in English.
