UI/UX Designer

We are DOM Security, an independent European company dedicated to mechanical and electronic access solutions. We design, manufacture, and market mechanical and digital locking solutions for large organisations, locking solutions for home owners and small and medium-sized business, as well as locking equipment for industrial groups providing turnkey solutions. Starting from our establishment in 1990 under the name Securidev, we have grown our size to 21 companies, 12 product brands, and serving millions of customers across Europe.

To answer the world's challenge in creating user-oriented web-based platforms, we are looking for a UI/UX Designer. This position will be based in the Netherlands and will report directly to the Group Marketing Manager.

What will be your responsibilities?

Create B2B and B2C user-focused platforms,
Combine interfaces and workflows to enhance the user experience,
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback,
Define the right interaction model and evaluate its outcome,
Develop wireframes and prototypes around customers' needs,
Find creative ways to solve UI and UX problems,
Create some visual design works occasionally, and
Keep in touch with the trends in the industry and the UI/UX field.
Who are we looking for?
You have proven experience (at least five years) as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar roles.
You communicate in fluent English.
You have a business experience, or you had developed products for business customers in the past.
You are familiar with interaction design and information architecture.
You understand the users' behaviour behind the creation of a product.
Proficiency in design and UI/UX-related software is a must (such as InVision, Sketch, and Adobe XD)
You have a problem-solving attitude, and you are open to receiving and giving feedback.
You have a flexible personality and are available to new challenges and learning new skills.
You have an eye for design, and you can work on visual objects.
You have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
You are an accurate and detail-oriented person.
You are available for occasional travel (post-COVID).
Optional: You have an academic degree in a related field.
