(Junior) Communication Specialist

Functie-omschrijving

Everything you do on a daily basis, is done to create a sustainable competitive advantage for our customers, and is done in a way that adds value to our company. This is an ideal position for a communication allrounder or for an early-career communication professional who seeks a broad spectrum of challenges.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Provide hands-on support for internal communication such as producing and publishing content across multiple channels (e.g. intranet, narrowcasting, email)
• Be the eyes and ears of the organization, providing content for the internal news magazine
• Support the organization of internal employee events
• Thinking along on a new communication tools to inform the employees as optimally as possible
• You play a role in the optimization of our labor market communications
• Execute on the marketing communication strategy and review / steer the communication plan on a yearly basis
• Thinking along on how we can communicate around our sustainability strategy
• Give substance to the social media planning and placing content on social media
• Supporting the organization of (online) exhibitions & promote our products and services during events
• Organize, create and edit the design of promotional material and distribute in online and offline channels
• Create and edit presentation materials, marketing materials, mailing campaigns
• Analyze the performance of our website and social media channel and make suggestions for improvements
• Come forward with any other new and fresh idea you may have!

Functie-eisen

• You have an affinity to the pharmaceutical industry and/or to a technology driven organization
• You enjoy being part of a company that contributes to improve patients’ lives worldwide through the high quality Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients we produce
• MBO+ or HBO level in Marketing or Communication
• Communicating in both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing is no problem for you
• You have a commercial mindset and know

• You know you way around in MS Office, Adobe, Publisher, Wordpress, Mailpoet, Linkedin and Twitter
• You like to work both independently, and in a team
• You like to learn new things, you feel comfortable in showing initiative and have ownership
• You can easily connect both internally with colleagues on all levels and externally with various stakeholders
• You work in a structured way and enjoy managing multiple projects / campaigns at the same time
• You are available for 40 hours per week

Afdelingsomschrijving

We are looking for a junior communication specialist who is bubbling with ideas and who will passionately contribute to the growth ambitions of our company. You will work on both corporate, marketing and internal communication.

You will focus on creating, distributing, and making relevant Dutch and English-language content accessible, with the aim of increasing the brand awareness at our external stakeholders and to inform the internal stakeholders on our path towards the growth of our company.

You identify the communication needs and ensure that the content really comes across and encourages action. In this role you will be in close contact with the Communication Specialist (to align on the internal and corporate communication), with the Commercial Department (to align on the marketing communication) and with several other departments within Aspen API in order to gather new stories and content. You report into the Commercial Team, located in Oss, the Netherlands.
