Technology department

Sanoma Learning wants to become the digital frontrunner of European education. To be able to respond quickly to new wishes from teachers and students, they work agile in multidisciplinary teams and use the latest tooling. SCRUM, Continuous Delivery and DevOps determine their working method. Sanoma Learning is, among other things, responsible for the development and management of educational applications. They work with progressive (cutting-edge) technology, supported by modern development and testing tools.

De functie

The team in which you will work as a Technical Information Analyst develops generic services and components for various international development teams. At the moment, the team is in full transition to become a central service team. You enjoy being “Jack of all trades” both within your own team and towards your stakeholders. You investigate the wishes and needs of the organization and the team and translate these into clear requirements and/or fitted solutions. You make the impact of changes transparent within the interfaces (models/APIs) and coordinate these with the various stakeholders/users. In addition, you also visualize the dependencies between the different teams and technical solutions.

You feel at home in a complex international environment and you are able to help shape the transition in which the team finds itself. You are able to add structure through designing, defining and recording functional and technical requirements. You can listen well, analyze, and you know how to create support for your ideas and solutions. You can also convince people, take them along, and help them on their way.

Your profile

• Completed a bachelor or master degree with a solid IT component;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Experience with drawing up technical analysis in collaboration with the development team;
• Knowledge of agile / scrum is a plus;
• Experience with data analysis in combination with complex IT processes is a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both in speech and in writing;
• Very good communication skills, convincing and connecting.
