(Junior) Financial Accountant

International automotive company is looking for a (Junior) Financial Accountant

who is keen to work in a small, motivated team of finance professionals, close to the business

We are looking for a motivated colleague who will work in our Finance Department. Network4Cars is an international automotive company and we trade mainly new cars to B2B clients across Europe. Our commercial activities (buying and selling vehicles) are supported by a small in-house finance team. We are looking for a new colleague in this team.

The challenge

In this position you will be responsible for a diverse range of financial activities, from bookkeeping to international coordination of activities and everything in between. The team consists of 3 Finance colleagues. You share the workload between you and tailor together your daily activity.

The job comes with a lot of autonomy and responsibility. You are in close contact with all the business stakeholders involved; from the owner of the company to an international sales trader, and from a buying manager to a logistic planner. For them you are the “go-to” in the finance department. A great job for any finance professional who doesn’t want to live in ‘organizational silo’.

Your daily tasks will include the following:

• Ensure the timely and accurate booking of invoices and bank movements
• Preparation of the payments
• Working closely with other departments to ensure the effective and accurate flow of vehicles in the system
• Exchange documents and information with local accountants of the different entities to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Perform reconciliations (stock, ledger/back-office system, etc.)
• • Assist in the preparation of several reports

• You have at least a MBO-degree in Accounting
• You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• You are accurate
• You are able to organize your work in a timely and efficient way
• You communicate easily
• You have a high proficiency in English
