What will be your role?
TNO’soffers a wide variety of internship, MSc and PhD-level assignments. Some assignments are practical: develop prototypes of a real societal use case based using SSI technologies. Other assignments are more fundamental: develop architectures and implementations to integrate multiple SSI technologies, based on different standards (W3C, DIF, ToIP, OIDC, …) and trust networks (PKI, blockchain). The assignments cover many domains: security (what are the networked risks of SSI, and how to manage these), interoperability (how to interconnect SSI domains), legal (SSI in relation to the new EU GDPR privacy regulation), business (upcoming SSI business ecosystems) and technical (developing application frameworks for SSI). Some assignments are carried out individually, whereas others are group assignments. In all cases, there will be a close connection with TNO’s scientific, applied and customer projects.
