Senior Controllers Coordinator

The Inventory Accountant Analyst is responsible for the execution of multiple work process activities supporting the PMLA with the primary focus in the area of inventory related transactions. The incumbent is responsible of ensuring the accuracy of the inventory records for PMLA inventory uplifted and sold by Dow; he also supports the financial statement analysis for the PMLA F&D expense transactions on the respective business balance sheets and income statement accounts. He is the primary finance interface with multiple Dow work processes and functions to achieve the desired results. Heb jij de ambitie om Senior Controllers Coordinator te worden?

• Perform data analysis and validation.
• Identify and organize data defects from source ECC transactions for engagement with core Dow work processes for resolution.
• Complete reconciliations.
• Perform specific tasks to ensure timely invoice payments and accurate compliance with the PMLA’s billing and reporting requirements related to inventory, especially regarding inquiries made by Sadara.
• Collaborate with team members and Dow partners on PMLA compliance matters.
• Assist in the monthly and annual closing process by performing Accruals, Adjustments to the GR/IR Valuation, Reclassifications, and Financial Statement Analysis.
• Understand and apply accounting principles commensurate with areas of responsibility.
• Work with co-workers to ensure proper internal controls and procedures are in place.
• Interface as required with Dow businesses for understanding of the PMLA transactions.

Dit zoeken wij in onze Senior Controllers Coordinator to be

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or in Business Administration
• Preferred 2 or 3 years of prior work experience in an accounting department.
• Experience in Controllers work processes, systems & tools, preferred.
• Fluent in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with accuracy, focus and effectiveness.
