What will you do?

Job summary:

You are responsible for assembling and disassembling production equipment of various production machines. You also carry out minor maintenance on production machines so that they can produce optimally, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Your responsibilities:

• Carrying out work in accordance with work orders, applicable quality procedures, work instructions, standards and times;
• Installing and removing production resources in the production machines;
• Starting up the production machines;
• Carrying out quality checks;
• Carrying out maintenance work on production machines (TPM);
• Proactively reporting defects and defects regarding production machines;
• Correctly use the resources made available and ensure that they end up in the right place after use;
• Ensure a clean and safe workplace (5S);
• Hold independent work meetings with colleagues from the next shift;
• All common activities within the production process.

You will also carry out the following activities under the supervision of a Molding Machine Operator Senior:

• Making adjustments to the production process in accordance with set quality standards;
• Ensuring correct reporting from conversion to setting up the machine;
• Actively making proposals for process improvements.

What do we ask of you?

• Technical education at least MBO 3 level or equivalent working and thinking level;
• Willing to take the Injection Molding 2 course;
• Demonstrable score on the skills matrix as Molding Machine Operator II;
• Production-oriented and quality-conscious attitude;
• Proactive attitude in making improvement proposals;
• Flexible attitude within the position and work schedule
• Good and independent “tinkerer”
• Accurate and systematic working attitude;
• Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
• Willingness to work overtime and breakdown shifts in good consultation;

Additional specifics:

• Works in a noisy environment;
• Works with hazardous oil and air pressures;
• Works with chemical oil and cleaning products;
• Works with hot (chemical) plastics;
• Works with sharp materials and tools;
• In consultation, it may happen that a different 38-hour schedule is worked.
