International Manager Clinical Projects
For this position you assist the director of Clinical Project with acquisition, qualifying, contracting new processing laboratories and the startup of new projects. You travel independently abroad to visit existing and new processing laboratories. While you are in The Netherlands, you will mainly work from Rijswijk.
The following tasks will be a part of your responsibilities:
- You will manage the day-to-day business of all the processing laboratories;
- You identify the potential risks and bottlenecks;
- You monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s);
- You contribute to the development of new procedures and the improvement of existing procedures;
- You ensure that all the required documentations, such as permits, training files and that all the laboratory certifications are present for each processing laboratory;
- You acquire new processing laboratories as needed;
- You handle quotations and budget negotiations;
- You train employees at processing facilities, either remotely or face to face.
Personal competences
We are looking for a colleague with a proactive attitude and eye for detail, who thinks ahead and out of the box if problems arise. Working independently and be stress resistant is a must. You are flexible and possess excellent communication- and people skills.Required education and experience
- A completed HBO/WO degree in Life Sciences or similar;
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Clinical Trial knowledge is a must;
- Laboratory knowledge is preferred;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel);
- Excellent command of English and Dutch in both spoken and written is a must.
Terms of employment
Manager Clinical Projects is a fulltime position, for 40 hours a week. We offer you a salary that corresponds with your education, experience and our company policy. We offer you a one-year contract with the possibility of extension and a permanent contract upon good performance. Furthermore, you will receive 8% holiday allowance and travel allowance.Viroclinics-DDL is committed to the development of its employees.
