The function:

At VDL Bus Valkenswaard we are looking for electricians who know how to flawlessly translate the wishes of our customers into the functionalities of our buses. Are you an experienced electrician or eager to learn technician? Then we would like to get to know you!

To install. Test it out. Dissolve. With your experience as an electrician, you can do this like no other. No experience? No problem. At VDL Bus & Coach we like to take the time to train enthusiastic candidates with a technical education internally.

What are you going to do?
As an electrician at VDL Bus Valkenswaard, you contribute to the development of vehicles that are fully adapted to the wishes of our customers. This means that every bus looks different.

Tasks:

• Install customer-specific systems such as payment or navigation systems;
• Installs the high-voltage drivetrains of our electric buses flawlessly;
• Test the software behind our operating systems;
• Adjust the motor drive of various types and manufacturers according to the manual;
• Quickly detects and resolves malfunctions or error messages from electrical

 

WE ASK:

As an electrician, it is important that you have technical insight, perseverance and a willingness to learn. In addition, we would like you to work independently, but also to ask for the knowledge and skills of your colleagues when necessary.

We further ask:

• An MTS electrical engineering or MBO level 4 electrical engineering diploma (TSO/A2 electricity or HBO5);
• Do you only have a basic diploma from a technical education? Then there are opportunities for internal training;
• Proficiency in the Dutch, German or English language;
• A NEN 9140 certificate ‘Working on electric vehicles’ or willingness to obtain one;
