a smart, positive, and dedicated E-commerce Manager
As an E- Commerce Manager you have the role and responsibility of looking after a website that focuses on the buying, trading and selling of products and services to the public or for business purposes. Some key factors of the role involve the content, the design of the website and overseeing such, online marketing and team management. The main focus for the E- Commerce Manager, however is conversion. Conversion is attracting visitors by using campaigns, effective SEO and attractive content that can convert them into leads or sales. E-commerce sales are very prominent in today’s market and have taken over the high street as the preferred method of purchasing items.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform;
- Managing and executing promotional campaigns;
- Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance;
- Develops digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition;
- Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed;
- Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs);
- Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights;
- Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing;
- Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests;
- Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience;
- Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points;
- Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels;
- Completes digital marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results;
- Bachelor work and thinking level (HBO/WO);
- 3+ years of experience preferable in online sales and/or retailing;
- Commercially driven with the ability to analyses and execute business plans;
- Socially skilled and constructive in communication with respect for other cultures;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing mandatory;
- Systematic and strategical mindset, used to work in a planned and structured way;
- Command of Excel a/o PowerBI.
- Experience with Webtrekk, Google Analytics, Google Adwords & Fact Finder, Act-on and HTML;
