This is what you will do…
As a Senior Platform Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Developing and enhancing our platform for application and service deployment.
- Introducing and integrating new technologies and frameworks.
- Focusing on areas like security, privacy, and developer experience improvements.
- Collaborating with team members and delegates across departments.
- Streamlining our CI/CD processes and infrastructure management.

The platform team is small but expanding, working closely with delegates from other teams to ensure technological cohesion and efficiency. The IT team consists of around 50 people in total. Functie-eisen
We're looking for someone with:
You are a seasoned IT professional with a proven track record, with preferably over 5 years of hands-on experience in the IT or data sector. Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field. You have a broad spectrum of skills that allow you to design, implement, maintain and provide support for developers. Your enthusiasm for exploring and integrating new technologies in combination with your communication skills make you the go-to person for coordinating infrastructure efforts across our teams. Your strengt lies in your ability to think on your feet and methodically structure solutions to complex issues. You are proactive and you thrive in collaborative environments. You have strong problem-solving skills and quickly absorb and apply new information.- Skills in Kubernetes, AWS, IAC tools (Terraform, Cloudformation Ansible), CI/CD practices, and programming
- Solid experience in IT or data-related fields, ideally with a relevant degree
- Ability to solve problems creatively and work well in a team
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Interest in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies
