Communications Business Partner Professional

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications specialist to join our newly formed Marketing & Communications Team. This role will play a core part in bringing the SARIA Food & Pharma brand to life through the design of communications which engage and inspire.

You will own the full Marketing & Communications strategy and plan for the Business Unit (development and delivery). You'll be a trusted partner to the Business Unit, working alongside Van Hessen Management Team and other key stakeholders to define the Marketing & Communications strategy, identify communications opportunities and deliver the planned activities and key objectives.

Operating in a flexible Hybrid model you would be on-site 3 days per week and home working 2 days per week.

Accountabilities

• Take the lead in defining the role and strategic direction for Marketing & Communications at Van Hessen.
• Define and deliver the Marketing & Communications strategy and plan, collaborating with senior stakeholders to craft a program of communications which inform and inspire, and are aligned with Van Hessen’s strategic priorities.
• Work closely with the Management Team and key stakeholders (including H&S, Quality, Sustainability, IT, and HR) on critical projects – this may involve leading on activity or contributing to initiatives with relevant comms expertise.
• Owner of the intranet – write, prepare and edit content, work with content owners to ensure all content is up to date and accurate. Drive usage and engagement with high quality articles and thought leadership.
• Report on effectiveness of activity and identify areas for improvement.
• Co-ordinate with divisional team to manage workload, forecast activity into future, and lead Marketing & Communications activities for other BUs as required.
• Work with Campaign Manager (Social) on strategy and content for Van Hessen social media.

Manage press enquiries and support with planning and organizing events (internal and external)

About You

• Global communications experience, including planning and execution of Marketing & Communications strategy and campaign plans.
• Evidence of establishing comms as a discipline in medium-sized and/or global organization(s).
• Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, working with digitally connected and unconnected employees.
• Experience in an international manufacturing business would be advantageous but not essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Basic design skills (e.g. Canva).
• Management of SharePoint based intranet.
