Business Intelligence Specialist

IT, Full-time, Amsterdam
We are looking for a talented BI Specialist to join our team. As a BI Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that will help drive business decisions and strategies. You will work closely with various teams within the organization to identify data needs, develop data models, and design reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights.

What will you do?

Work with various teams within the organization to identify business intelligence needs.
Proactively identify opportunities and insights, and provide recommendations for supporting strategic business decisions.
Develop data models and design ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will help drive business decisions
Ensure data quality and accuracy by developing data quality checks and data cleansing procedures
Determine current business needs and solutions by understanding, analyzing, optimizing and automating business processes, products, services and systems.

Work with IT teams to ensure that data infrastructure and platforms are optimized for reporting and analytics needs
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics
What we are looking for?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field
SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices is a plus
