The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team responsible for delivering efficient and accurate financial services to multiple entities worldwide. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting tasks, including record maintenance, financial analysis, and financial reporting.

You report to the Chief Financial Officer, and you will be instructed for the day-to-day work by the Financial Controller.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you are, with your colleagues, responsible for the correct financial administration and you contribute in this way to the healthy financial wellbeing of Assai. You are responsible for financial record maintenance, accounts payable & receivable, asset management, the financial part of payroll, reporting, compliance, budget support, working with auditors and so on. An all-round financial role in which you can grow.

What will you bring Assai?

You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with about 4 years’ experience as an FA in an international environment. Of course, accounting software has no secrets for you. We work with Exact Globe, so experience with this software has a preference.

As a finance person, you would need to have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and financial regulations and you are analytical, with problem-solving skills. You have to be fluent in both Dutch and English.

Additional information

You will need to live in and need to have a work permit for The Netherlands. You need to speak Dutch fluently. We will not accept applications without these two requirement.

A base salary indication (defined skills and experience) would be between EUR 45.000 and EUR 50.000 gross annually.
