What are you going to do?

Enza Zaden is investing in a state-of-the-art planning system, a data intelligence platform and is embracing agile principles as a way to accelerate our global planning principles. As Operational Supply Planner, you will be joining our ambitious supply chain team, where they achieve the optimal supply planning in >30 crops, 45 hubs in 25 countries for 7.500 customers.

As Operational Supply Planner, you will be responsible for the operational supply planning of a certain crop/ crop group. By doing so, you ensure that customer service levels are met and the global supply plan is executed.

You are a real hands-on person when it comes to the supply plan for the short-term horizon.
You have passion for logistics and planning and you like the operational side of supply chain.
Together with, and under guidance of the tactical Supply Planner, you monitor the supply plan, identify gaps and prioritize the supply of our products. By doing so, you help accelerate our supply chain processes in the global supply chain. This role requires an eye for detail, and a sense for timing, planning and urgency..

As Operational Supply Planner you are participating in the S&OP process and you will work across multiple functions, organization levels, crops, regions, and the full supply chain.

Because of your problem solving skills, you easily signal and solve issues related to short-to-mid-term seed availability and delivery for the certain crop/ crop group. You communicate easily with relevant stakeholders within Seed Production and Production Planning. You collaborate with these departments to define the production priorities and to review the technical status of the worldwide seed productions are in order to ensure expected delivery dates.

You know what you want to achieve and get things done. When it comes to signaling the mid-to- long-term supply issues you work in close cooperation with the Tactical Supply Planner.

Your power

This is an ideal position for somebody who just finished his/her bachelor.
You are a team player and have strong analytical skills, you can work with complex problems and large sets of data. You foresee future impacts on actual and potential events and resolve issues across crops where they arise.

In short, you:

• You have a completed education at HBO level, preferably in a logistics direction;
• You have a hands-on mentality, a strong persuasiveness and an analytical attitude;
• Are proficient in the Dutch and English language, both written and verbal.
