THE ROLE

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in the product development process by leading the design and development of Skytree products. Leveraging your extensive experience and technical expertise, you will contribute to the innovation and optimization of mechanical designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• Calculate and spec components with sizing 
• Experience with (vacuum) rotary pumps, compressors, chillers, piping
• Design for prototyping and fast execution to enable quick verification of ideas
• Mechanical design and integration of various elements with knowledge of pipe and wire routings
• Creating production documentation and compliance with machine directive and safety standards applicable in EU as well as globally

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in industrial mechanical design, with a focus on complex systems and large outdoor machines
• Experienced in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly cycles, 
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design experience in developing innovative solutions for cost-efficient and reliable mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
