BEDIENDE Financial Controller Europe

is globally active in the design and development of profiles for windows and doors, outdoor flooring and fencing, roofline and cladding and interior applications. The Region Europe is the biggest region of the Deceuninck Group. It is a consolidation of 20+ legal entities, covering 10 sales regions, 8 production plants and 11 warehouses. As Financial Controller Europe you will be part of the Europeon Financie team and you will report to the Finance Director Europe. 

What are your responsibilities?

• Cooperate with the Commercial Controlling and Plant Controlling department to understand the drivers behind the business performance at sales region and plant level, and support the Finance Director Europe in understanding the consolidated financial performance of the region Europe.
• Support the preparation of the monthly reporting to the Group where you bring the story behind the European figures.
• Monitor the administration and R&D costs of the region Europe and report the deviations of the actuals compared to budget to the functional responsibles (finance, HR, product management, IT, …).
• Support the coordination of the yearly budget process and periodic forecasts.
• Guard a consistent use of cost centers and G/L accounts throughout the region Europe.
• Manage the CAPEX request process and assess the different requests on return and investment, and follow-up on CAPEX spent compared to budget.
• Coordinate different projects and stimulate continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

• Holding Master degrees;
• You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience in controlling or audit;
• You have excellent analytical skills;
• You have a strong interest in IT;
• Ability to communicate effectively in Dutch and English;
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office Application;
• You are willing to travel on a sporadic basis.
