About the role:
As we scale up Returner, we are looking for a senior Full-Stack JS App Developer to become the driving force behind our returns solution. This is your opportunity to take the lead in developing an existing app used by enterprise brands like MR MARVIS, Alpinestars and Stoov from front to back.As a Senior developer for Returner, you will continuously implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and revolutionize the returns process for enterprise Shopify merchants and their customers. In this role, you’ll take technical ownership of the app and oversee both front- and backend development. How exciting is that?

You're a collaborative team player, comfortable working closely with a multi-disciplinary team including Returner’s Product Manager, Support Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Backend Developers and Sales Consultants.Building a successful SaaS product that meets the ever-evolving needs of established brands truly excites you. You enjoy using your problem-solving skills to meet the needs of both merchants and end-consumers, ensuring an exceptional experience. Performance and scalability are central to everything you do.
You:
- Have extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Are proficient in ReactJS for the frontend and NodeJS for the backend, with senior-level expertise and an equal focus on both technologies.
- Have excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- You feel comfortable working independently.
- You are a mature conversation partner for your clients and able to effectively communicate your work to stakeholders
- Have critical thinking skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Are capable of working independently and taking initiative in problem-solving and decision-making.
Bonus points if you:
- You have experience working with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- You are able to analyze the product from a commercial perspective, understanding and delivering on the business value.
